The sitting room walls are painted in Dulux’s Lime Zest 2. Jonathan made the dresser, painting it to complement the limegreen backdrop. This latticework pillar framing the window is original to the house. Treasured items are displayed on the mantelpiece, from quirky ceramics to antique candlesticks.
Claire and Jonathan like to fill their home with beautiful and inspiring objects.
The hallway shows Jonathan and Claire’s love of colour. The walls are painted in Dulux’s Flame Frenzy 3 and the doorframe in Farrow & Ball’s Down Pipe.
The Suzani bedspread in the guest bedroom was bought in Istanbul. The painting above the bed is by Jonathan.
Storage becomes a feature; try Firefly by Little Greene for a similar red.
Jonathan and Claire wanted an informal, open-plan feel in the kitchen.

I'd move here as soon as I get out of work. Really. What a Fabulous House! I didn't think Victorian (Glorious Times those, isn't it? The Equivalent of Art Deco for the rest of Europe ;), eccletic, exquisite, charming and intelligent) could team with Color in the same sentence but I stand corrected :D.
ReplyDeleteLove it. It's like a Wink of fun and secrecy among all those traditional pieces.
